BASIC DUTIES OF EVERY LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER
- Maintain a consistent Christian walk with specific emphasis on disciplines of the Christian life (prayer, Bible study, personal witnessing, ministering to others). Make Christ the center of every BCM activity.
- Commit to the priority of punctual attendance at all leadership team meetings. This promotes council unity and facilitates the planning, execution, and awareness of the total BCM program.
- Support a local church through prayer, attendance and participation in its programs.
- Meet regularly with the Campus Minister and/or intern to share, plan and discuss specific responsibilities.
- Attend Leadership Team Planning Retreats (Fall and Spring) and the statewide Leadership Training Conference in April.
- Participate in regular ministries of BCM outside one’s own area of responsibility.
- Participate in regular meetings with your leadership team.
- Pray regularly for the other leadership team members, President, Campus ministers, and all phases of the BCM ministry.
- Be responsible for all preparations before and all clean-up following an event which your leadership team sponsors.
- Lead in creating a positive atmosphere of Christian community within the BCM, including the “calling out” of gifts and encouragement to all BCM’ers.
