The Councils at BCM perform various functions with the common purpose of spreading the message of Jesus. These leadership positions keep the BCM an active, vibrant community of Christians.

Community Ministries

The Community Ministries Team coordinates ministry teams to churches, promotes summer mission opportunities, organizes service projects in and around Louisville, leads in fund-raising for mission projects, and plans and leads Fall and Spring break mission projects.

Freshman Ministries

The Freshman Ministries Team organizes weekly FLT meetings, assimilates Freshmen into the overall BCM ministry, coordinates Welcome Week activities, provides leadership building opportunities for Freshmen, and implements on-going outreach programs to Freshmen. Check out the FLT page.

Campus Share

Campus Share plans events to introduce people to Christ, encourages campus involvement, builds relationshiops with other campus organizations, and generally promotes the BCM on campus.

International Ministries

The International Ministries Team shares faith with international students by building relationships, helps promote and facilitate Sunday Nights Together, interacts with international students, plans outings like retreats and horseback riding, and attends and invites students to the International Conference and retreats.

Growth

This team encourages the spiritual growth of BCMers by providing opportunies for discipleship and developing the prayer ministry. Also, they seek to grow the sense of community within the BCM through social events and other special projects.

Worship Ministries

The Worship Team organizes weekly theme and order, enlists speakers, coordinates with the praise band to provide music, involves volunteers within the BCM to provide testimonies, special music, scripture readings, and other elements, as well set up and tear down for TNT.
